Which brings us to where we do not want to go …
Peaches and her daughter.
Nassau County law enforcement publicly identified the woman only known as “Peaches” on April 23, 2025, in an extravagant press conference. An attempt to catch up with Ray “Red Wave” Tierney’s torrid pace of press conferences.
Remember Peaches – the African American female found widely dispersed in distance and time. On June 28, 1997, some poor unfortunate discovered her dismembered torso in a wooded area of Hempstead Lake State Park in Nassau – arms; head; and legs below the knees … severed.
A father, his children and his children’s friends attended a fishing contest. The father caught a breeze carrying an unusual odor. He found Peaches torso in a Rubbermaid container along with a red towel and a floral pillowcase near a hiking trail. He lives in Pittsburg now. Says he’s still disturbed nearly 30 years later. The unfazed in the face of depravity remain on Long Island. We got hundreds of thousands of them here. Why would they be fazed by their own reflections.
Peaches died about 1 to 3 days before being found. The killer wrapped her in plastic – that’s a Rex thing. She had a distinctive tattoo of a peach on her left breast. The peach is shaped like a heart with a bite taken out of it and two peach juice drips falling from its core. She also had an abdominal scar from a caesarean section. She had a baby …
On April 4, 2011, skeletal remains of a toddler were found near Gilgo Beach.
A week later on April 11, 2011, cops discovered additional human remains in a plastic bag – that’s a Rex thing – near Jones Beach State Park. DNA confirmed that the remains belonged to Peaches. Police identify these remains as “limbs.”
DNA testing confirmed the toddler found the week before Peaches is the daughter of Peaches. God Bless this Long Island reunion.

Peaches’ torso and extremities were found 15 miles apart; the mother and child were discovered nearly 10 miles apart on Ocean Parkway. Rex dumped the toddler about 150 feet from Valerie Mack. (Head, arms and one lower leg)(more fucking plastic)
Between the toddler on the eastern part of Ocean Parkway and Peaches on the Western part of Ocean Parkway – the boundaries – Rex meticulously dumped his eight other CONFIRMED “Gilgo” victims all on the North side of Ocean Parkway.
On April 23, 2025, Nassau identified Peaches as Tanya Denise Jackson – 26 years old. An army Veteran who served in the Gulf. She received several commendations. On March 17, 1995, Tanya gave birth to her daughter. Nassau identified the “Toddler” as two year old Tatiana Marie Dykes.
In a nation where the President openly bragged on stupid Howard Stern’s show about being a draft dodger there is little room for the honoring of U.S. Veterans. They might as well be serial killer victims.
The NCPD stated that Tanya raised her child as a single mother while residing in Brooklyn. They speculate that she worked at a doctor’s office. The NCPD speculates a hell of a lot. At least they did not speculate that she worked as a prostitute like Suffolk Police always do: “Hey Carmine we gotta an-nah-thah dead woman o-vah hear-ah. Gotta be a hookah.”
In June 1997 mother and daughter disappeared without a trace. No one reported them missing. A demonstration of the Rifkin theorem. The NCPD speculates that Tanya was “estranged from her family.” Cops said the same about Jessica Taylor. Her family cried out in response, “she was coming home the day she went missing. We love her.” That’s not “estranged.” It’s poor journalism.
The Toddler’s father moved to Florida before the murders. The NCPD says they talked to him.
The question: During an active investigation and prosecution of Rex by the vaunted “Task Force” why did Nassau have a press conference just to announce identities – no arrests. They could have issued a press release including the information, pictures and a number to call.
Despite the facts, NCPD Homicide Detective Captain Fitzpatrick had to speculate to reporters that perhaps Rex did not kill Peaches and the baby girl – even though the baby girl formed the eastern terminus and Tanya the western terminus of one of Rex’s trails of bodies and body parts. Despite the fact that Peach’s murder signature matched the signature of three other nearby Rex victims – two of which Rex has been indicted for. Despite Rex’s admissions in his BTK Manual and Internet searches about wanting “Black” “girls,” “dismemberment” and “decapitation.”
It is not talked about but the very same Rubbermaid containers that contained Peaches were in Rex’s garage – clearly visible in the search warrant pictures released by the Task Force without comment (as excellently and perceptively pointed out by my Web Sleuth “friend” Wayne Whitty) (The Task Force probably failed to make the connection). Then there’s Rex’s fascination with tied up children that are raped, tortured and made to cry.
Talk about signature crimes – Peaches and her daughter have “Rex” written all over them.
Despite all of that – Fitzpatrick and DA Anne T. Donnelly said, “Our work has just begun … Every little thing we can learn about her leading up to her death will help us solve this horrific crime.”
They’re doing nothing on this case … I know.
They gave Rex’s lawyer ammunition. Now he can say to a stupid Suffolk Jury as he points to a map of bodies on Ocean Parkway stretching ten miles east to west:
The Nassau County Police Department and Nassau County District Attorney think someone else – not my client – killed that poor army mother and her baby girl … mother and daughter were found amongst the bodies that they accuse my client of killing.

This killer – whoever he is – dumped the poor baby on the eastern end … [pointing] here … and the poor mother … [pointing] here … at the western end of the body trail. Nassau believes that my client did not kill that poor mother and her baby.

You know what that is called … “Doubt” … Is it “reasonable doubt” that can set Rex free – that’s up to the stupid MAGA jury.
Nassau got on the publicity band wagon just like Ray “Red Wave” Tierney – riding that red wave of rotting corpses.

About three hours later Bundy returned to crowded Lake Sammamish where he kidnapped pretty Denise Marie Naslund using the same trick. He took Denise back to the apartment.
According to Bundy he assaulted, raped and tortured Denise while he forced Jan to watch. Then he killed Denise in front of Jan to let her know what was coming. And then he did the same to Jan.
What a rush.
Rex you hefty slob you sexually assaulted, raped and tortured Tanya in front of her baby girl. Then you sexually assaulted, raped and tortured the baby girl in front of her mother. Or reverse the order. Does it matter? It went on and on. For how many days did this go on?
Then you killed one in front of the other. Probably the poor little girl first because her mother would give you the biggest reaction. Screaming … begging … crying … pleading. Or did you feel that dismembering Tanya in front of her two year old girl would be an even bigger thrill. Did you experiment … go one way … then another?
